Padmbhushan Dr. Vasantdada Patil College of Architecture, Pune (PVPCOA), an integral part of Vivekanand Institute of Technology, is a most prestigious institute of architectural programs and other related courses. Admittance into PVPCOA is done on the basis of several national examinations conducted at the university level concerning fair admissions. The admission criteria are entry on the part of undergraduate students either based on their result in NATA or JEE Main Paper II and for admission to post-graduate programmes through MAH M.Arch CET.

B.Arch :

1. Take either the NATA or JEE Main Paper II for which valid scores must be obtained.
2. Go to the PVPCOA official website and fill in the online application form.
3. Upload the required documents such as 10+2 mark sheet, entrance exam score card, etc.
4. Pay the application fee as specified on the website
5. Submit the completed online application form.
6. Wait for the college to announce the publication of the merit list.
7. Attend counseling, if selected in the merit list, as stated in the schedule by the college.
8. Complete the admission process by verifying the documents and paying the fee if selected. 
9. For M.Arch applications: This document will include applications for Landscape Architecture and Urban Design:

Register and take MAH M.Arch CET.

1. In the wake of the results of CET, a candidate has to visit the PVPCOA website to fill out an online admission application for M.Arch of his/her choice.
2. Upload all required documents including graduation mark sheets, CET scorecard, and all other relevant certificates.
3. Payment of application fees online.
4. Submission of the filled-in application form.
5. Await publication of the merit list by the college.
6. If shortlisted, counseling will take place according to the schedule
7.  If selected, complete the admission by verifying documents and fee payment.

Degree wise Admission Process.

B.Arch: The approved student intake for the Bachelor of Architecture program at PVPCOA stands at 80 students each year. Admission into this program is purely through either of NATA or JEE Main Paper II scores. Candidates must have valid marks with at least a non-zero positive score from either examination to qualify for admission. The score received in the entrance exam along with academic performance in the qualifying examination are considered. 

Landscape Architecture (M.Arch): This postgraduate program is limited to intake of 20 students each year. Admission for this program is based on the MAH M.Arch CET. An undergraduate degree in Architecture or any relevant discipline from a recognized institution is required for application. Selection is based on the score earned in the CET and academic records of the candidates.

Urban Design (M.Arch): Admissions for this process follow the same rule applied for Landscape Architecture. It takes in 20 students each year, and students will have to appear in the MAH M.Arch CET to be accepted. The eligibility is an undergraduate degree in architecture or in a related subject.
