Padmbhushan Dr. Vasantdada Patil College of Architecture, Pune (PVPCOA), an integral part of Vivekanand Institute of Technology, is a most prestigious institute of architectural programs and other related courses. Admittance into PVPCOA is done on the basis of several national examinations conducted at the university level concerning fair admissions. B.Arch: The approved student intake for the Bachelor of Architecture program at PVPCOA stands at 80 students each year. Admission into this program is purely through either of NATA or JEE Main Paper II scores. Candidates must have valid marks with at least a non-zero positive score from either examination to qualify for admission. The score received in the entrance exam along with academic performance in the qualifying examination are considered.
Landscape Architecture (M.Arch): This postgraduate program is limited to intake of 20 students each year. Admission for this program is based on the MAH M.Arch CET. An undergraduate degree in Architecture or any relevant discipline from a recognized institution is required for application. Selection is based on the score earned in the CET and academic records of the candidates.
Urban Design (M.Arch): Admissions for this process follow the same rule applied for Landscape Architecture. It takes in 20 students each year, and students will have to appear in the MAH M.Arch CET to be accepted. The eligibility is an undergraduate degree in architecture or in a related subject.
