To meet Bachelor of Architecture eligibility, a candidate must meet certain educational requirements. Specifically, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination and obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Additionally, the candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate at the 10+2 level examination or passed a 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate. These requirements ensure that candidates have a strong foundation in the necessary subjects to succeed in the architecture programme.
No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
A pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture
Note: No separate entrance examination will be conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University). However, the candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch. program.
