How to Download the NPTEL 2026 Marksheet?

Candidates who appeared for the NPTEL exams can download the NPTEL marksheet using their registered credentials. They have to log in to the NPTEL archive portal where they can find the “Candidate Login” tab. Clicking on the tab will redirect the candidates to a new login window, where they can enter their email address or select the “Continue with Google” option.

Step-by-Step Process to Download NPTEL Marksheet 2026

• Visit the official website of NPTEL Archive - archive.nptel.ac.in/noc/

• Click on “Candidate Login” tab

• A login window will open

• Enter your email address; a code will be sent to your registered email

• Enter the received code on email and login

Or

• You can select “Continue with Google” option

• After that, a new page will appear, where you marksheet will be displayed

• Select the check box and click on the “Marklist Download” button

• When you click on it, your marksheet will be displayed in PDF format

• Download the marksheet

Is the NPTEL Exam Important?

NPTEL courses are 4, 8, and 12 weeks courses offered in diverse disciplines IITs and IISc. Anyone can join NPTEL online courses free of cost. There are no pre-requisites, no age limit, no entrance criteria to enrol in NPTEL online courses. However, to earn a certificate from IITs, candidates have to take the NPTEL exam, which is an optional proctored certification exam.

When Will I Get My NPTEL Certificate and Marksheet 2026?

After successfully completing the NPTEL exam with minimum passing marks, candidates will get their NPTEL certificate and marksheet.

The NPTEL exam involves 100 marks, where 25% of the final marks comes from the assignments and 75% from the final exam.

When Will the Exam Results be Published?

For an objective online exam, NPTEL results and the e-certificate is available 2-3 weeks after the exam date. For an offline subjective exam (paper and pen), the results and the e-certificate is made available 5 weeks after the NPTEL exam.

How Can I Contest My NPTEL Exam Score?

Candidates who want to contest their NPTEL exam score have to send an email to the conducting authority explaining the reasons behind their contest. Candidates are required to provide their name of the course, date of exam, roll number and email id.
