mera 12th Bihar board me ALTERNATIVE ENGLISH 50 marks ka h ,jisme mujhe 34 marks aaya h(pcb) ke sath .am i eligible for NEETug 2021?

Dear Harsh,

Yes, you are eligible to sit for NEET 2021.

You should know the aggregate percentage that are considered in NEET is only for PCB subjects and rest are not taken into consideration.

The percentage that are required for the various categories are given below.

  • UR - 50%,

  • OBC/SC/ST

I have Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Alternative English in 12th. During JEE Mains /Advance counselling time, do they ask for fourth subject marks or is it compulsory to have 4th subject for counseling? Im from AHSEC board.

Hello Aspirant, For Sitting in JOSAA counselling your aggregate marks should be above 75% for General and OBC students, and above 65% for SC and ST students.Aggregate Marks means total marks divided by total no of subjects.
Or You should in top 20 percentile students of your board, Top 20

My percentage in 12th state board 2019 is 59% and after giving betterment exam in 2020 in 3 subjects i.e, in maths, English and alternative English will around 73% to 74%. My state board top 20 percentile cut off was 72% in 2019. Now will I be eligible for jee?

Hello Rahul, Top 20 percentile of any board is calculated by marks scored in five subjects which are

Physics

Chemistry

Maths

Language subject

Any subject other than physics, chemistry, Maths, language paper

If you have two language paper then higher marks scored subject will taken as language paper for calculating

please someone reply this Im so confused please in the neet eligibility criteria it is mentioned that one must pass in biology, physics, chemistry, English n in the elective subject.... alternative English is MIL... then which subject is elective subject???

Hey,
The criteria for NEET 2020 eligibility is that Candidate must have completed 10+2 with physics chemistry, English and biology/biochemistry as subjects from any recognised board.
The elective subject options are given in biology/biochemistry and also you should have studied mathematics.
Otherwise all the other subjects are compulsory.
