My percentage in 12th state board 2019 is 59% and after giving betterment exam in 2020 in 3 subjects i.e, in maths, English and alternative English will around 73% to 74%. My state board top 20 percentile cut off was 72% in 2019. Now will I be eligible for jee?

Hello Rahul, Top 20 percentile of any board is calculated by marks scored in five subjects which are
Physics
Chemistry
Maths
Language subject
Any subject other than physics, chemistry, Maths, language paper
If you have two language paper then higher marks scored subject will taken as language paper for calculating top 20 percentile.
Now if your percentile by taking these subjects comes in top 20 percentile of your board ,by taking your improvement marks,then you are eligible for taking seat.if your marks comes 73-74 percentage and your your board top 20 percentile is 72,then you are surely eligible.

What if someone have Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English & Alternative English? Will it be taken into consideration?

Hello student as you're appearing in 2020 betterment exam then you need to be in top 20 percentile of your board examination result of 2020 not 2019. After that if you're in top 20 percentile then yes you're eligible.
Eligibility - candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.
Application for jee main April examination starts from 07th of February and shall remain open till 07th of March 2020
