kumardurgesh1802 15th May, 2025

Hello Prachi,

Yes, you can pursue a B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) degree from central universities through the CUET 2025 exam, even if your chosen subjects are English , Biology , and the General Test (GAT) .

CUET 2025 Eligibility for B.Pharm

  • Class 12 Qualification : You must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination.

  • Subject Requirements : While specific subject combinations may vary by university, many central universities require candidates to have studied Physics , Chemistry , and Biology in Class 12 for B.Pharm admissions.

  • CUET Exam Subjects : You can select subjects based on your educational background. If you have studied Biology in Class 12, you can appear for Biology , English , and the General Test in CUET.

    Important Considerations

  • Age Limit : The minimum age for B.Pharm admission is typically 17 years .

  • Minimum Marks : A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 is generally required for general category candidates.

  • University-Specific Requirements : Each central university may have its own specific eligibility criteria and subject requirements for B.Pharm admissions. It's crucial to check the official CUET information bulletin and the specific university's admission guidelines for detailed information.

please tell me the last year cutt off of class 11 biology stream 2024 25

Nikita shahi 20th Aug, 2025

The cut-off for Class 11 Biology stream admission depends on the school, board, and region you are applying in. Unlike national-level entrance exams, there is no single cut-off applicable everywhere. For example, in CBSE and ICSE schools, the cut-off for Science stream (with Biology) is generally higher than Commerce or Arts. In many reputed schools, the cut-off for Biology can range from 75% to 85% or sometimes even higher, especially in metropolitan cities. In state board schools, the cut-off may be slightly lower, around 65% to 75%, depending on availability of seats. If you want an exact cut-off, you need to check the official notice board or website of the specific school you are targeting .

Thank you!

With 75% in your Class 12 board exams and Physics, Maths, Biology, and English as core subjects, you are eligible for many science-based undergraduate courses. Since you have Physics and Maths, you’re eligible for courses like B.Tech, B.Arch (with NATA/JEE), and B.Sc. programs.

Biology also opens up options like B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or even paramedical fields.

I am 12th passed out science biology students Now what type of course I have to prepare

Nikita shahi 19th Jul, 2025
Hello,
If you’ve passed class 12 with Biology, there are many courses you can pursue. If you're planning to give NEET, you can prepare for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, or BHMS. But even without NEET, there are so many better options like B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Anesthesia Technology, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology , Optometry, and more. These paramedical and allied health science courses are quite in demand and offer good career scope too.If you're more interested in research and want to study subjects deeply, you can go for B.Sc. in Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Genetics or, Biotechnology . These courses are available in many universities, and you can get admission through CUET UG or university-level exams.
You can also try pharmacy (B.Pharm) or food and nutrition-related courses like B.Sc. in Nutrition & Dietetics or Food Technology. And if you're someone who wants a flexible path, you can take general B.Sc. courses and prepare for competitive exams side by side.
All the best!

if i only write biology (domain )in cuet ug then i get admission in central universities?

Devanshi Goyal 19th Aug, 2025

HELLO,

Yes it is possible to get admission into some central universities through CUET by just selecting Biology as a domain subject. However this depends on the specific course and college requirements like some programs like Bsc in Biology , Botany , Zoology etc. might solely rely on Biology as a domain subject, in the field like computer science or engineering may require additional subjects like mathematics and general test . It will be better to check the eligibility criteria of each university and subject mapping for the interested course before applying

Hope this Helps!

Hi i have chosen English as language and two domain subjects biology and psychology. am I eligible for the universities of Delhi? if yes which ones?

SEJAL JAIN 11th May, 2025

Yes, you are eligible to apply to Delhi University (DU) through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for the academic year 2025, provided you meet the specific subject combinations required for your desired course.

Language Requirement: You must appear for one language paper from List A in CUET. Since you have chosen English as your language, you meet this requirement.

Domain-Specific Subjects: You need to select three domain-specific subjects from List B. Given that you've studied Biology and Psychology in Class 12, you can choose these two subjects. For the third subject, you have the option to select another subject from List B or opt for the General Test (Section III)
