Established in 2001, Chaitanya College, Pamgarh, in Janjgir-Champa district, Chhattisgarh, is an affiliated college. The campus is spread over 10.5 acres with co-educational facilities available for as many as 20 courses through 11 degree programmes. The approved college of NCTE has an overall strength of 1,692 students and a faculty strength of 7. Chaitanya College offers good programmes from undergraduate to postgraduate levels in the fields of Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Computer Applications, and Education.

Chaitanya College has a number of facilities that will aid the students in learning and development. It is well-stocked with all types of books, journals, and research materials, including reprographic services and internet access. Physical education is also focused on by the institution. There are sports facilities for different games like cricket, volleyball, and athletics. Chaitanya College, Rajahmundry runs a wide range of courses, including 20 programmes. Courses are available in B.Sc, BA, B.Com, BCA, BBA, PGDCA, MA, MSW, M.Sc in different specialisations, and B.Ed. All these are full-time programmes, thus providing depth in knowledge and skills of their chosen fields to the students. The B.Ed programme is, of course, a flagship course of the college, again with an approved intake of 100 students that clearly shows the interest of the institution toward teacher education.

The admission process into Chaitanya College is based on the program in which a candidate is seeking enrolment. The admission is a merit-based one for the B.Ed programme, and marks secured in the entrance examination and/or in the qualifying examination may also be taken into consideration for admission into the said programme, if so prescribed by the state government and the university.
