can i repeat class 11 12 from any other board. i have oassed hsc from maharashtra board this year. to give neet . i had pcm earlier.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 9th Aug, 2020

Sakshi, yes you can repeat your 12th from any other Board. If appearing for NEET is your aim, you need to take Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as your core subjects. But if you have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathermatics, if you have studied Biology as an additional subject in your 12th along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, then you needn't repeat your 11th and 12th again. You will be eligible for NEET because Biology as an additional subject is allowed for NEET. But if you did not have Biology as an additional subject, you may have to repeat your 11th and 12th. And as of now because there is no upper age limit for NEET, you can appear for NEET after you repeat your 12th. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th.

i got 61.69%in 12th HSC,93.6% in 10th ,8.7 CGPA in BE,can i apply for cat and if got good percentile..can i get a call from iimb or iimc?

Shivani sharma 16th Sep, 2020

Hi Aspirant,

Usually MBA aspirant thinks that good CAT score is enough to get a call from IIM, but the reality is call from IIM does not only depend upon the CAT score but also depends upon the overall academic performance and WAT/GD rounds. Some IIM's give preference to work experience or UG streams so its totally upon them but only CAT score is not enough to get a call from them.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you

Vinayak Thapar 13th Sep, 2020

Hi,

Yes you can clear your maths from NIOS. If you clear your Maths from NIOS then you will be eligible for taking admission. Regarding your second question yes both your HSC marks for other subjects and your NIOS maths marks will be valid. Doing Maths from NIOS is convenient and recognised.

i got 67% in hsc science which courses are for me

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 3rd Aug, 2020

hi,

see after completing 10+2 course it would be a vital decision for you to choose a career course which would lead your future career and have intense effects on your life. students gets confused  which course to select since they remain in confusion of their ability and interest for any particular course. however for science stream students there is many entrance test held every year in india like jee main, neet, icar ug, bsc courses admission test etc. however as per your score you have very less chances for bsc course in tier 1 colleges. however you may apply for interdisciplinary course like bsc in biotechnology, bio chemistry, electronics science etc. now you have to think that either you want to remain in science background or need to change your field.

some of the course you may apply for,

engineering,

medical courses like mbbs,

bsc courses in biotechnology, biochemistry, data science,

bachelor in business administration

bachelor in computer application

ba llb, bsc llb

bsc in medical lab technology

bsc in agriculture

hope it would help. if you have any more query please  ask in comment section.

Hello Please help me with this if a person is scoring 133 in hsc pcb group from obc category can he give neet exam ??? he is eligible

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 31st Jul, 2020

Ahana, to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Going by this, you have 44%. So if your Community is listed under Central OBC list, then you are eligible for NEET by the virtue of falling under OBC Category. Or else, unfortunately you do not qualify for NEET. So you need to check if your Community falls under Central OBC list.
