I scored 94 percent in hsc with centum in computer science. Can I get cse seat on SSN Chennai? Or I should go through management quota? will they accept any donations?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 31st Jul, 2020

Hello,

Your 12th board score is good. SSN College of engineering gives admission to students on the basis of merit. SSN is affiliated under anna university. so there is good chance to get admission through normal process. There is no need to go for management quota.

65% of seats are reserved to get filled up through single window counselling and  35% of seats is reserved for management quota admission from which 25 seats are reserved for students who performed best both in academics and sports and 25 seats are reserved for toppers of government rural schools of Tamil Nadu.

for more details, you can visit the official webpage of SSN chennai:-

Hello Aspirant,

We do not guarantee your admission to any college. We just make you aware of counselling process and chances to get that particular college.

According to your percentage you are eligible for admission in KK Wagh College but note that admission is solely based on cut-offs and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors like availability of seats, number of students appeared and likewise.

I hope this information helps you.

I got 96 percentile in jee paper 2 110 in NATA and 63 percent in hsc board so which college I can get for B arch??

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 31st Jul, 2020

Hello,

Your entrance score is good. You are not eligible for NIT due to eligibility criteria. Usually, 75% is the minimum percentage requirement. may be for this year, it may get decreased by 5%  or more.

do check the updated eligibility criteria. if your 12th percentage satisfies the minimum limit then you can apply for NIT campus.

apart from NIT, you can also apply for school of planning and architecture. There are many campus located across India. you can also apply for government college/universities.

here are some top college options:-

  1. Dayanand Sagar college of engineering
  2. SRM institute of science and technology
  3. Lovely professional university
  4. ramaiah Institute of technology
  5. Nirma University

Lahari 31st Jul, 2020
Hello!
Eligibility criteria for Diploma course after 10th :
Every Institute offering Diploma course has different eligibility criteria. General eligibility conditions for Diploma course are :
Candidates should have passed 10th standard from a school which comes under recognised board of education.
Candidates must have the aggregate score of 50% in 10th board exam but most of the institutions provide some relaxation in aggregate score for AP some reserved categories.
Candidates must have passing marks in all subjects in 10th standard.

I suggest you to check the eligibility conditions of particular institution you are interested in. As I've already mentioned the eligibility criteria varies for different colleges. So check the official website of the college if they have any separate conditions .

Hope I've answered your question
All the best!

I have got 66 percentile in jee and my caste is obc .I have got 69% in HSC science .can you suggest colleges for b.e/b.tech in Mumbai or Pune

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 30th Jul, 2020

hi,

see in colleges of mumbai or in maharastra majority of the seats is fills by mhtcet exam score. however at this jee main score you have less chances to get admission in tier 1 colleges, so I suggest you to prepare for jee main april session exam, if you have applied for  mhtcet exam prepare sincerely.

you may calculate your jee main rank by using the following formula,

100 - (your total percentile) * 869010 /100

295463 would be your approximate rank.

some of the college you may have chances to selection are as follows,

A.C. Patil College of Engineering

NMU - Kavayitri Bahinbai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University

Pravara Rural Engineering College

Genba Sopanrao Moze College Of Engineering

I have failed in 12th science HSC board I want to give re-exam so how Many syllabus of last year question paper are held pn re-exam

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 29th Jul, 2020

Hello,

There will be no change in syllabus for supplementary/ improvement/re-exam. You have to prepare from the same syllabus. if you find difficult to cover it all then cover long questions from all the chapters.  every chapter has 5-6 long question which holds more than 10 marks. do read them. remember them no matter what.

cover short questions from chapters which you find easy. get sample paper or solved question set for your failed subject. practice that whole book. don't even leave a single line.

practice questions as much as you can. solve your academic book if you can.  put your efforts now to clear the paper in one go. if you have to give more time then do give and study. it is not  good to hold back paper in 12th. it will waste your time.

Hope it helps!

hii, I scored 58% in my hsc this year and want to opt for bscit but my marks in maths are not so good which is 40 and also i belong to open category ... do i have any chances of getting into jai hind????

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 28th Jul, 2020

hi,

see jai hind college situated in mumbai is a autonomous institute in India, Affiliated to the University of Mumbai. however this college has both aided and unaided courses. b.sc in information technology comes under un aided courses. however college is comes under tier 1 colleges of mumbai,  however first you need to register in the university portal, then you need to apply in the college portal. since the college is comes under top notch the applicants would be huge. so better apply for other colleges as well to make maximum possibility to selection in any of the college.

I have mention some institute name which offer b.sc IT course in mumbai,

NMIMS Sunandan Divatia School of Science, Mumbai

SNDT Women's University, ChurchGate

S K Somaiya College

Atharva Institute of Information Technology (AIIT, Malad)

Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science

St. Xavier's College, Mumbai

Vidyalankar School of Information Technology

Sophia College for Women.

hope it would help.
