The minimum marks required for general category student is 55% in mastersdegree and For ST/SC/OBC/PWD/Transgenders minimum 50% marks to apply for the post of lecturers in a particular college. But the institutions may have different eligibility criteria depending on the course and type of college.

You have not mentioned the name of exam and subject for which you want to apply  However the exams like SET -state eligibility test , NET -National eligibility test for lecturership are conducted every year by respective exam conducting authority.

Hello,

In order to work as a lecturer or assistant professor you only need to completed Master's Degree in the relevant field with 55% in case you belong to reserved category there's relaxation of 5%, and qualify the NET exam.

If you want to become Lecturer in college, you don't need to have a B.Ed degree, you only need to qualify your Masters with minimum of 55% and then give UGC-NET exam and after qualifying that exam you can give Interviews in many college for the post of Lecturer
