You need to multiply with 3 and then add with odd numbers starting with 1.
For example:
2*3+1=7
7*3+3=24
24*3+5=77
77*3+7=238

hi,
7/2, 1 as remainder,
24/7, 3 as remainder,
77 /24, 5 as remainder,
238/77, 7 as remainder,
see the remainders are in a series of 1, 3, 5, 7..
and all the numbers are divisible by their earliest number by multiple of 3.
like 2*3=6,
7*3=21,
24*3=72,
77*3=231
the next number is the series is 2, 7,24, 77,238
