Yes you can ,but if you are in IIT you cannot go for JEEadv again. If you are in NIT you can go for better option.

If you have allotted any NIT then you can not apply otherwise you can go for JEE 2017.

Chemistry: NCERT, R.C.Mukharjee, Arihant, NumericalChemistry "? P Bahadur, Physical Chemistry "? O.P Tondon
Mathematics: New pattern IIT-JEE, Cengage, Trignometry, Coordinate Geometry "? SL Loney, Algebra "? Hall and Knight, Calculus "? Thomas and Finney
JEE 2017 is all about concepts and understanding. Focus on concepts and practise enough form books, online and sample papers. Refer to previous years' papers to know the pattern and difficulty level of questions asked.
