Cellular respiration is the pathway of metabolism which breaks down glucose to produce ATP. According to the biology book 38 ATP molecules can be made per oxidized glucose molecule during cellular respiration (2 from glycolysis, 2 from the Krebs cycle, and about 34 from the electron transport system).

but i have a doubt whether it is 36 or 38 ATP..
in some books they have given 36 atps..then in some others 38 atps..
