Nongthombam Biren Singh, popularly known as N.Biren Singh is the present Chief Minister of Manipur and is a former footballer and a journalist. He started his career with his passion for football and became a footballer and then got recruited in the Border Security Force (BSF) and represented its team in domestic competitions. Afterwards, he resigned from the BSF to pursue journalism and then left it to join politics.
