Dear Aspirants ,
Im really sorry to say that Tattoo is not allowed in IAS (Indian Administrative Service) .But some of time it is allowed if you have proper reason for this tattoo and it would be inappropriate but most of time you facing problems for this tattoo.

Stop spreading false lies dude ... No where is it mentioned that tattoos are not allowed for UPSC Civil Service Exam. They may be looked down upon .. but their is no ban on tattoos . Except if you're applying for army through UPSC CDS exam .
