how important is 9th and 10th cbse portion to crack jee
Hello Namit,
For cracking JEE, the 9th and 10th CBSE syllabus is important as a foundation but not the main focus.
Key points:
-
Concepts from 9th and 10th classes form the base for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in JEE.
-
Topics like basic algebra, geometry, motion, and chemical reactions are built upon in 11th and 12th syllabus.
-
However, JEE questions mainly come from the 11th and 12th syllabus.
-
Strong understanding of 9th and 10th concepts helps in grasping advanced topics easily.
-
It is recommended to revise and clear basics from these classes but focus more on 11th and 12th topics for JEE preparation.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
It's not that important.
But if you start preparing in these years you get an early start advantage . That early start advantage is useless if you don't have any dedication towards that exam which most don't.
Take my friend's example,
He took admission in fiitjee in class 11th . Two of my classmates were enrolled in fiitjee since class 9th . None of them cleared jee with a decent rank . But he was able to achieve a respectable under 10 k rank in both mains and advanced . So only your motivation and reason should be to clear the exam matters.
11th and 12th is more than enough .
I just advise you to enjoy in your class 9th and 10th . (http://10th.do/) Engage in as many extra curricular activities as you can. Try to grasp the concepts and try to remember them by practising questions.
I hope this helps.
The 9th and 10th CBSE portion is foundational for JEE preparation and builds the basic understanding required for higher classes. While not directly tested in JEE, a strong grasp of these concepts is crucial for tackling the more complex topics in classes 11 and 12.
Building Blocks:
Class 9 and 10 cover fundamental concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics that are essential for later understanding. For example, concepts like motion, force, and work-energy in Class 9 are foundational for advanced mechanics in Class 11.
Foundation for Success:
A solid understanding of these basics ensures a smoother transition to more advanced topics in Classes 11 and 12, ultimately leading to better JEE preparation.
Time Advantage:
Students who grasp the fundamentals early have a head start and can spend more time on deeper understanding and practicing advanced concepts later on.
Not Directly Tested, But Indirectly Crucial:
While JEE doesn't directly test 9th and 10th class content, a strong foundation in those classes is crucial for understanding the advanced topics in Classes 11 and 12, which are the core of JEE.
In essence, while not a direct part of the JEE syllabus, the 9th and 10th CBSE syllabus forms the bedrock for JEE preparation, and a thorough understanding of these fundamentals is crucial for success in JEE.
