Dear User,
Thank you for reaching out to Careers360. I understand your concern regarding the income certificate for the EWS category. As per the guidelines, the income considered for the EWS certificate should include the total household income. Since you have mentioned that there are two businesses—one under your name and one under your father's—it is advisable to include your income as well, along with your father's, while applying for the certificate. The combined income is what determines eligibility, so any source of income under your name should be declared.
If you need further assistance, feel free to ask. Should you be interested in courses or colleges related to your field of study, let me know, and I'd be happy to provide recommendations.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to Careers360.
When applying for an Income Certificate for the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category, it's essential to accurately report your family's total income. Since your father is the only earning member and the combined income from both businesses is below the threshold of 8 lakhs, you should not include your income from the business registered in your name if it does not contribute to the total family income for EWS purposes. It's crucial to consult your local authorities or the office responsible for issuing the certificate to understand their specific guidelines and requirements.
