Hello there,
If your
Aadhar details (name, DOB, etc.) are correct
, then
missing one fingerprint in biometrics will not affect your application
.
Do You Need to Update Aadhar?
- No need to update Aadhar if all details are correct.
-
Biometrics are usually required for
Aadhar authentication
but
not for exam applications
.
Do You Need to Correct It in the Correction Window?
- No correction is needed in the application form since Aadhar details are correct.
You should
only update Aadhar
if any personal details are incorrect, not for missing fingerprints.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
Yes, if one of your fingerprints is missing from your Aadhaar biometrics, even if your other details are correct, you need to visit an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre to update your biometrics and capture the missing fingerprint; you cannot correct this through the online correction window as biometric updates require a physical visit to an enrolment centre.
To update your missing fingerprint, you need to go to a nearby Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.
Inform the operator that you need to update your biometrics specifically to capture the missing fingerprint.
The online correction window is only for updating demographic details like name, address, or date of birth; it cannot be used to fix missing biometric data.
