if a candidate of obc category gets marks above the cutoff of general categ. then he will get a general seat or an obc seat

Hello Ashutosh,
No matter if a candidate is of any category and his score is greater than that of General category cutoff, He will fetch a seat only through his respected category quota only.
So, in your case you will get admission on the basis of OBC quota only.
