My father or mother don't have any residential plot,flat but my grandmother have. but we dont live with grandmother, we live in rental house. am i eligible for ews?

Dear Sujoy, EWS reservation is mainly for General Category Candidates. Do you belong to General Categoru and your annual source of income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs per annum? Then yes you are eligible for EWS reservation. If the residential plot is ancestral, it cannot be accounted to your assets and income. So you are eligible for EWS Category.

Yes I'm general, Nd our annual income is even less than 1 lakh. But the total residential plot is owned by my grand mother, not by my parents. So am I eligible??

Mam, so what document should I submit regarding the resident? We dont have any. I have Income and other required documents ,but not any property document.
I'm living in my grandfather house and he's dead and currently the whole property is my father's name and my father doesn't have any othee property except ancestral property so am i eligible for ews category
