My original caste I oc but unknowingly I applied as bc-d and correction due date is also completed what to do now ?
Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out!
If your original caste is Open Category (OC), but you mistakenly applied as Backward Class-D (BC-D).
Immediately reach out to the helpdesk via email or the helpline number available on the official website.
Submit a written request explaining the error, including your application number, correct caste (OC), and supporting documents. Class 10th certificate, birth certificate. Request a manual correction or guidance for counseling.
Prepare a notarized affidavit declaring your correct caste as OC, acknowledging the error in the application, and stating that your other documents reflect OC. Attach copies of your 10th-grade document and birth certificate.
If the issue remains unresolved, visit a regional center with your documents for in-person assistance.
Some colleges may allow caste corrections during admission with proper documentation. Contact the shortlisted colleges directly.
All the best.
Thank you.
