My question is - Is there addmission in TFWS quota for b.tech in Computer science or other departments ? How can apply for TFWS quota ?
Dear aspirant,you have not mentioned that for which exam and state are you asking. TFWS scheme or Tuition fee waiver scheme is offered by all AICTE approved colleges.The TFWS quota is applicable on AICTE colleges. There are around 5% seats approved under TFWS scheme in all the colleges.
TFWS Scheme
This scheme is applicable and mandatory for all Technical Institutions offering Bachelor programs that are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.
Eligibility
Only those candidates who have an annual family income lesser than Rs. 6 Lakh from ALL possible sources are eligible to apply through the TFWS scheme.
So,yes CSE is applicable for this and private colleges also provide this.Every state has different procedure.You can apply to this during counselling.In some states you can apply while filling option form.
