The JEE Main exam, conducted by NTA, is expected to be held in two sessions—January and April 2026, with registrations likely beginning in November 2025. For postgraduate engineering courses, GATE 2026 will be conducted in February 2026, and its registration usually begins in August 2025. Private universities like SRM will hold their entrance exam SRMJEEE in April 2026, and the application process may start by December 2025. Similarly, state-level exams such as MHT CET (for Maharashtra) and AP EAMCET (for Andhra Pradesh) are expected in April and May 2026 respectively, with applications opening a few months prior. For students interested in Karnataka-based private colleges, COMEDK UGET 2026 will also be held around May 2026.
