This is a very subjective matter. And we usually answer career related queries here, but now that you want to know let me explain. Madras Christian College consistently ranked among the top ten colleges in India, it is considered to be one of the most prestigious colleges in India, for arts and sciences. Wearing whatever you want is solely your personal choice. But I can inform you of the gentry there. Since it is one of the best arts colleges in India and admission into it is not that easy you can find a gentry that is rather civilized and has a liberal outlook towards things. "Modern" dresses would certainly be one of them. but trust me it is completely your choice.
