so basically if I am not willing to take the college alloted to me in round 1, I will automatically be eligible for round 2? and will I get a different college in round 2 also to proceed to round 2 do i have to make the payment of 40000? (IPU)

Hi Sakshi,

Yes, if you don't freeze your seat in round 1 you will be eligible for next round and their is no need of  40,000 fees at that time. You must have to pay councelling fees for second round, if you want more prior college but don't freeze the seat in first round.

  • Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted seats, and who want to opt for seat up-gradation (by attending next rounds of counselling rounds) need not to click on the ‘freeze’ option.

  • If candidates do not want to select the ‘Freeze’ option, then candidates’ higher preferences will be taken into consideration and they will lose the seat allotted to them.

Fees will be paid after final seat allotment of your choice except councelling fees.
