Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University admissions are offered in various fields at UG, PG and PhD levels. GGSIPU University admissions to the courses are based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and various entrance examinations, depending on the course applied for. GGSIPU applicants can also register and appear for the IPU CET conducted by GGSIPU.

• GGSIPU admissions are offered to the B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Arch, B.Sc, BBA, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, M.Pharma, MBBS, MBA, LLB, PhD and many more. 

• Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University admissions are based on JEE Main/ CET/ GATE/ CUET/ CAT/ MAT/ GMAT or the university's own IPU CET. 

• The GATE 2026 exam will be held from 7th to 15th February 2026.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Registration Process

• Visit the official IPU website: ipu.ac.and click on 'Register Yourself' and enter your email ID and mobile number to register yourself.

• Filling out the IPU University Application Form 20.

• Upload the scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression as per the specifications.

• Pay the IP University application form fee payment through Debit Card, Credit Card, Netbanking, or Challan

IP University offers several UG courses of 3-4 years duration. In order to be eligible for IP University admissions to UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 10+2 examination with the required percentage of marks.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Admissions Eligibility Criteria

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University B.Tech Admission Process

• Register for IP University B.Tech admission by visiting the official website.

• Candidates must first register and appear for the JEE  Mains or IPU CET examination.

• Admissions will be given to the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and also clear the IP University B.Tech cutoff (JEE Mains or IPU CET).

• Selected candidates can secure their GGSIPU B.Tech admissions by going through the counselling process and paying the admission fee.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University UG Admission Process

• Eligible candidates must register for the respective entrance examinations - IPU CET or CUET UG.

• IP University admissions to the courses will be granted based on the candidate's performance in the entrance examinations.

• After the declaration of the results, candidates must register themselves for the IP University counselling process.

• GGSIPU admissions will be finalised only after the submission of all the necessary documents and payment of the admission fee.

Most of the PG courses offered by GGSIPU are of 2-year duration. As per the GGSIPU admission norms, candidates must have passed their Bachelor’s examination in the required discipline.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University M.Tech Admission Process 

• Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria of the course.

• Candidates need to appear for the GATE or IPU CET entrance examination.

• Candidates should meet the GGSIPU M.Tech cutoff range for the further admission process.

• Candidates are required to appear for the IP University counselling process.

• Candidates will be selected for IP University admission on the basis of their marks in the entrance examination and counselling process.

GGSIPU MBA Admission Process 

• Applicants are required to check their eligibility criteria for the course.

• Applicants are required to appear for the IPU CET entrance examination. Alternatively, they can also appear for the CAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT examinations. Candidates must carefully check the exams accepted by their desired colleges before applying.

• Applicants shortlisted are required to appear for the counselling process.

• Applicants will be shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance examination and the counselling process.

• Applicants selected for IP University MBA admission are required to submit the documents for verification along with the application fee.

• Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria required for admission.

• Candidates are required to appear for the IPU CET or the NIMCET entrance examination

• Candidates shortlisted for the entrance examination need to appear for the counselling process.

• Students are required to apply for these courses through the official website of the university.

• Students have to appear for the IPU CET or the CUET PG entrance examination.

• Students will be selected based on their performance in the entrance examination and the counselling process.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University PhD Admission Process

• Candidates have to apply for PhD admissions through the official website of the university.

• Candidates must appear for the PhD entrance test (PET). Candidates who have already appeared and qualified UGC NET/ UGC CSIR NET/ GATE/ CEED or other similar national-level entrance examinations are exempted from the PhD entrance test.

• Candidates shortlisted have to attend the counselling process.

• Candidates selected for IP University PhD admissions will have to submit their documents for verification along with the course fee.
