GGSIPU Delhi Admission Process

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University admissions are offered in various fields at UG, PG and PhD levels. GGSIPU University admissions to the courses are based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and various entrance examinations, depending on the course applied for. GGSIPU applicants can also register and appear for the IPU CET conducted by GGSIPU.

GGSIPU Admissions 2026 for UG Courses

IP University offers several UG courses of 3-4 years duration. In order to be eligible for IP University admissions to UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 10+2 examination with the required percentage of marks.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University B.Tech Admission Process

Register for IP University B.Tech admission by visiting the official website.
Candidates must first register and appear for the JEE Mains or IPU CET examination.
Admissions will be given to the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and also clear the IP University B.Tech cutoff (JEE Mains or IPU CET).
Selected candidates can secure their GGSIPU B.Tech admissions by going through the counselling process and paying the admission fee.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University UG Admission Process

Eligible candidates must register for the respective entrance examinations - IPU CET or CUET UG.
IP University admissions to the courses will be granted based on the candidate's performance in the entrance examinations.
After the declaration of the results, candidates must register themselves for the IP University counselling process.

Candidates should meet the GGSIPU M.Tech cutoff range for the further admission process.

if i got college in round 3 in ipu bsc nursing counselling and i choose to float and upgrade my college then is it required physical reporting in alloted college? if in next round i have alloted college which i want to get admission in then ihave to pay that security fee of 60k?

Hello,

If you’re allotted a college in Round 3 of IPU BSc Nursing counselling and choose “Float/Upgrade”, then physical reporting is not required at that stage. You can wait for the next round’s upgraded allotment. Once you get the final preferred college, you’ll need to pay the 60,000-security fee and report physically to confirm your admission. If you don’t report after final allotment, your seat may be cancelled.

Hey there,
You have a decent chance of getting admission in some mid-tier IPU colleges. Top ones like Maharaja Surajmal, Maharaja Agrasen, and Vivekananda might be tough, but you can still get good options like Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi Institute of Rural Development, and Ideal Institute of Management. You can also try for Tecnia Institute or Trinity Institute in later rounds; cutoffs drop a bit after the first round, so keep checking the updates.
