What according to you is a safe EWS rank for nit,iiit my ews rank is 9k any chance of homestate nit?

Hey Anukriti, hope you are doing well. EWS is newly introduced category so nothing can be said about it's cutoffs and also the number of seats will increase by 10% in the institutes. The cutoffs would depend on several factors like number of candidates applied for the category, difficulty level of the exam, number of seats, number of students who have given the exam. Still at this rank of 9K of EWS, you might get the lower ranked NITS and IIITS atleast. Nothing can be said about the top and medium ranked ones. Nevertheless please wait for cutoffs to be out.
