International Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D programmes. IIIT Bhubaneswar admissions are based on the entrance examination accepted by the college. IIIT Bhubaneswar B.Tech admissions are based on the JEE Main examination.

The candidates must then attend the JoSAA counselling process. While IIIT Bhubaneswar M.Tech admissions process is done based on performance in GATE or based on the academic performance of the candidate along with an interview. The college offers admissions to B.Tech at the undergraduate level. The IIIT Bhubaneswar offers 5 specialisations in B.Tech.

IIIT Bhubaneswar B.Tech Admissions Process 2025

• The candidates must meet the IIIT Bhubaneswar B.Tech admission eligibility criteria.

• The candidate must appear and qualify the JEE Main examination.

• And after the declaration of the results, if the candidate meets the cutoff then he/she can register for the JoSAA counselling.

• Then, in the counselling the candidate must select IIIT Bhubaneswar as the preferred college and courses must also be filled.

• For the candidates from Odisha, the college conducts its own counselling process. 

• 50% of seats are reserved for "Odisha State Category" and the rest 50% are reserved for "Open To All" category.

• Students applying through the "Open To All" category need to appear for JoSAA/CSAB 2024.

• Then seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their performance in the entrance examination.

• The provisional admission will be confirmed once the candidate submits the documents for verification and pay IIIT Bhubaneswar fees.

The college offers admission to M.Tech at the postgraduate level. The IIIT Bhubaneswar offers M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering specialisation.

• The candidates must meet the IIIT Bhubaneswar M.Tech admission eligibility criteria.

• The candidate must appear and qualify the GATE examination.

• Then the candidates must apply and attend the CCMT counselling process. 

• Then, in the counselling the candidate must select IIIT Bhubaneswar as the preferred college and preference courses must also be filled.

• Then seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their performance in the entrance examination.

• For the candidates who have not attended the GATE examination, a merit list will be prepared based on the Academic Progress Record (APR) of a candidate. 

• Then the shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview process.

• Then seats will be allotted to the candidates based on Academic Progress Record (50%) and Personal Interview (50%). 

• The admission will be confirmed once the candidate submits the documents for verification and pay IIIT Bhubaneswar fees.

The CCMT counselling seat allotment round 2 result has been released on June 24, 2024 for admission to M.Tech programmes by the NIT Surat. To check their result candidates need to visit the ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Candidates need to provide their GATE registration id and password to know their seat allotment result. Candidates who are allotted seats need to submit the documents for verification and pay the registration fees.

The college offers Ph.D in 9 specialisations at the doctoral level. The duration of course may last for 6 years.

• The candidates must meet the IIIT Bhubaneswar Ph.D admission eligibility criteria.

• The candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performance. 

• Then the shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test, Research aptitude test and Personal Interview that will be conducted by IIIT Bhubaneswar in physical mode.

• The IIIT Bhubaneswar final selection process will be done based on academic performance, performance in the Written Test, research aptitude and the Personal Interview.

• Finally document verification will be done followed by IIIT Bhubaneswar fee payment. 

For admission to IIIT Bhubaneswar UG and PG programmes candidates must appear for the IIIT Bhubaneswar counselling process. Candidates can apply for the IIIT Bhubaneswar counselling process after clearing the entrance examination cutoff. For admission to B.Tech and M.Tech programmes candidates must appear for JoSAA counselling and CCMT counselling respectively.
