- A candidate must have a have a degree in law or a relevant legal qualification for five years.
- Candidate must have practiced as Advocate, Attorney or Pleader in the high court or subordinate courts.
- Minimum 3 years of service after obtaining a degree in law is required.

In order to become a Judge you should complete your LLB and then apply for the job profile of Judge. There are many entry level qualifying exams for the post. Also you need to be a advocate even if you don't practice it. - The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 35 years.
- Candidates must have completed an LLB course of either 5 years or 3 years.
- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates must have qualified the Judicial Services Examination which includes Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and an interview.
