What did you do with your first salary as an IIM graduate?

Dont worry about the money you spend, the degree would pay you back in due time. The important thing here is to figure out whether management is your calling; if yes, go for it. But do not do it just for money because if you dont like the job later, you wont be good at it which would not take your career very far. I know of students who joined IIMs just coz someone else was doing it, and later cribbed about how good their previous work was.
Even if you are earning ~15 lpa now, and you want to go for MBA, do it. Because the chances of you rising up the corporate ladder increases manifold with an IIM degree in hand. Many get out of IIMs with a below-par salary, but are able to make up with performances and switch to much better roles in no time
So dont think too much about the money now, go fo MBA if you really want to.
