The answer for this quest varies from one college to another. It depends on the level of college examination and the kind of preparation of college during classes.
However, on an average in India, if you want on campus placement from any good company then must have extraordinary communication skills, English speaking as well as average cgpa around 8.5.
In first year you are going to have new experience so, due to high enthusiasm you might score good cgpa around 9.5 but it's not compulsory.
