Why we can use KCL solution for determination of cell constant?
Hello,
It is generally limited to the measurement of ultrapure water, the conductivity of which is very low. Determination of the cell constant required to convert conductance readings into conductivity results. A solution of known conductivity that is used to calibrate the conductivity measuring chain. The molar conductance of the standard KCl solution is inversely proportional to its molarity while its equivalent conductance is inversely proportional to its normality for a given volume Vcm^3.So (https://www.researchgate.net/deref/http%3A%2F%2FVcm%5E3.So) cell constant will also change with the change with molarity or normality of KCl solution.
