wrongly filled my degree as "Electronics & comm. instrumentation" instead of "Electronics & Comm. Engineering".How can i change this?

No problem ...
Just login to GOAPS > enter into change gate application form >and gates announces the date for recorection for make changes in degree.>and that time you can be able to change it.

But there is no option to rectify the qualifying degree brach details

You have to wait for a any updates regarding GOAPS orther wise screenshot your problem ,send it to honoured gate centre (only by email ),they will contact you within 12hours.

Follow these steps to do changes in your form :
Step 1: Login at GOAPS website
Step 2: Enter Enrollment ID/Email Address, Password and Captcha.
Step 3: Click on Edit GATE Application Form and make the changes.
Step 4: After making the changes, verify before saving the application form and then Save and View Application.
Step 5: Submit and Proceed to Payment after verifying all the changes.
