take admission in M.D.(Psychiatry) after completing your graduation/post-graduation( or M.Phil) in Psychology

Another option you have to become a qualified psychiatrist is to do a Diploma in Psychiatric medicine (DPM) from a recognised educational institute.

Yes you can. But for doing MD in psychiatry. you should have science background with PCB subjects in your 12th STD. And you have to give NEET entrance exam. And for giving NEET exam. it is compulsory to have an science background because Arts and commerce students can't give NEET exam .it's the rule. If you are of science background then you are eligible for giving the NEET exam. and you can pursue MD in psychiatry after your mphil in clinical psychology. And you can be a psychiatrist.Otherwise, if you are not of science background then you can pursue Psyd {clinical psychology} after completing your mphil in clinical psychology.And also after completing Psyd (Clinical Psychology) you will get the title of 'Dr'.And you can be a clinical psychologist.Best of Luck.
