Students at DSCE actively participate in various cultural, technical, and sports events throughout the year, showcasing their talents and passions. The college hosts annual fests and cultural programs, providing platforms for students to exhibit their creativity and organizational skills
The collage should support the sports more as there are less sports

The Academics of the college is above average and upto the current standards and the peer group is also highly commendable. The ECE branch is a bit strict and restricts us from participating in other activities.
The placements were fine till a year ago but now due to the current market trends and the layoffs taking place everywhere the average placements have declined with less companies visiting this year thus reducing the no of job offers
Attending this private engineering college has been a worthwhile investment. Despite the higher tuition fees, the quality of education and resources provided justify the cost to some extent. College infrastructure is pretty decent. But there is always scope for improvement. The play ground needs to be good. special focus should be given to sports infrastructure. Additionally, parking space can be improved. CSE buildings infrastructure is best including toilets.
Academics is all good. The teachers are very professional and knowledgeable. Most of the professors behave well in class and are very supportive. Lab instructors are also supportive and helps in experiments.
Currently placements are very poor. This May be due to recession! But if we see overall the placement percentage is very low. Very few companies come with good packages. Even the service based companies are hiring less candidates.
Yes, the college is upto mark to some extent. But it's difficult to say it's value for money as placements are pretty average. It costs us arround 12 lakh for BE 4yrs but the placement is not guaranteed.

I am from CSE department. The academic teachers are good and they teach very well. The circulum is upto date and they update the syllabus each year. The syllabus covers the basic topics of that subject..to be ready for job ..I think still the students should go deep into their respective career subjects to be job ready.
The placements are pretty fine in my college..with an average of 8LPA...65 to 70 percent of students are placed but it's not upto the mark. The department and college is supportive but the students are not satisfied with placements.
As for the management students it has a lot but for comedk and cet students it is quite affordable with a range of fees from 2lpa to 3 lpa along with hostel fees.
The atmosphere is good and the environment the college is cool .students enjoy the fests events and programs. The teachers and staff support the events and the college is safe and damn good.
I love being in dsce..but just reading from the semesters doesn't give you the job..the students who put efforts gets the best job and the cse department is very supportive on student ideas.DSCE is good and we can be able to get good packages if we practice more..irrespective of college but dsce is lively and it's damn good.
Since SNQ seats are often branch-specific, changing your branch in the 2nd round can cause the quota not to carry over. Check DSCE’s official counselling guidelines for quota rules. Immediately contact the college admission office and explain your 1st round SNQ allotment. Keep all proofs and allotment letters ready. They may reconsider or guide you on options. If not, you may have to accept the new branch or try for SNQ in future rounds.
Since you got SNQ quota in the first round for DSCE but a different branch in the second round without SNQ, it may be because SNQ seats weren’t available in that branch. You should contact the college admissions office immediately and explain your situation. Ask if your SNQ quota can be retained for the new branch. You can also reach out to the counselling authorities to check if a manual correction is possible. Act quickly, as quota changes have strict deadlines. Keep all your original SNQ documents ready for verification.
Hey Karthik:)
Thanks for reaching out!
With a KCET rank of 7,727 under the 2A reservation category your chances of getting CSE at Dayananda Vidyasagar College Of Engineering (DVCE) are at borderline but possible, especially in later rounds .In the previous year cutoff trends, closing rank for CSE under 2A category was around 7,500 which places you slightly above the past cutoff. So admission in the first shift is unlikely .You may have a chance in 2nd or later rounds depending on seat availability, cut-off movements and dropout cases.
Your rank is close enough to the cutoff to keep DSCE CSE as a hopeful option especially if you're open to later rounds but keep strong backup options ready and stay updated with the councelling process.
