Since SNQ seats are often branch-specific, changing your branch in the 2nd round can cause the quota not to carry over. Check DSCE’s official counselling guidelines for quota rules. Immediately contact the college admission office and explain your 1st round SNQ allotment. Keep all proofs and allotment letters ready. They may reconsider or guide you on options. If not, you may have to accept the new branch or try for SNQ in future rounds.

Since you got SNQ quota in the first round for DSCE but a different branch in the second round without SNQ, it may be because SNQ seats weren’t available in that branch. You should contact the college admissions office immediately and explain your situation. Ask if your SNQ quota can be retained for the new branch. You can also reach out to the counselling authorities to check if a manual correction is possible. Act quickly, as quota changes have strict deadlines. Keep all your original SNQ documents ready for verification.

Hey Karthik:)

Thanks for reaching out!

With a KCET rank of 7,727 under the 2A reservation category your chances of getting CSE at Dayananda Vidyasagar College Of Engineering (DVCE) are at borderline but possible, especially in later rounds .In the previous year cutoff trends, closing rank for CSE under 2A category was around 7,500 which places you slightly above the past cutoff. So admission in the first shift is unlikely .You may have a chance in 2nd or later rounds depending on seat availability, cut-off movements and dropout cases.

Your rank is close enough to the cutoff to keep DSCE CSE as a hopeful option especially if you're open to later rounds but keep strong backup options ready and stay updated with the councelling process.

All the best!

To secure admission in a B.Tech program in Computer Science, you need to qualify for an entrance examination. The Joint  Entrance Examination (JEE) is a national-level exam, while many states also conduct state-level entrance exams, such as MHT-CET, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, WBJEE, and others . After qualifying for these exams, you can gain admission to a B.Tech degree program through the counseling process. Careers360 can assist you with counseling and guide you through the admission process effectively .

The yearly tuition fees structure for both BE and MBA programmes offered at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering for the management quota candidates is mentioned below:

  • BE : Rs. 2.75 lakhs to Rs. 5 lakhs (depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates)

Apart from the above-mentioned tuition fees, candidates will have to pay the other fees of approximately Rs. 50,610 every year.

  • MBA : Rs. 4,17,500 (tuition fees)

Apart from the above-mentioned tuition fees, college fees has to be paid every year at the time of final admission of approximately Rs. 75,136.

Both have their own advantage if you want strong reputation and better infrastructure with good industry connection then go for pesu biotechnology whereas if you want experienced faculties, specialised curriculum with less students then you should choose DSCE without any doubt. choose wisely according to your requirement.

hello aspirant,

dayananda sagar college of engineering doesnot have place in tier 1 colleges. it is a average college.

Hii There,

The regular commencement date for B.Tech classes at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is August 1st, unless it falls on a Sunday or coincides with a government holiday.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks

Hello Aspirant,

Dayanand Sagar and Acharya Institute of Technology are more or less on same level but yes there are certain factors on the basis of which it can be judged.

1- Placements - Dayanand Sagar has average package of 4.2L per annum and Acharya Institute of Technology has an average package of 3.78L per annum. I would recommend to opt for cse in both of the colleges because in core branches it will be difficult in getting into core companies.

2- Campus life - The life at both the colleges are decent . There are fest every year in which people gather have gala time.

3 Infrastructure - The Buildings and hostels are well maintained in both these colleges. In time in the hostels for both boys and girls are strict.

Hello,

It relies on a variety of variables, including the branch, the professor, and the placements.

Both colleges are nearly equivalent if all you want is placements; otherwise, it depends on you. Because the placements for BMSIT and BMSCE are combined, BMSIT may have a little advantage.

Always choose a career path based on your interests above college since, once you leave school, a career path will help you live in this tough world.

However, choose BMSIT if CSE (Software & Coding) is your area of interest.

DSCE is a lot better college than BMSIT if you're looking at college rankings.

Thank You

College Infrastructure

Our college has very good infrastructure. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. Wi-Fi facility is available on campus. Library has a great volume of books and digital libraries are also available. Canteen and hostel facilities are provided on campus.

One of the best colleges for students

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

Hostel facilities were not good. The fee varied from Rs. 22500 to Rs. 115000. There were no single-seater rooms. All rooms were double-seaters. There was an NRI hostel for foreigners with extra facilities, but most students opted for rental rooms nearby the college, which were very cheap

Local dominance is present in the college campus

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is the worst. Hostel fee is very expensive, and they don't provide the same facilities (not worth it). Food is okay. They will be increasing the hostel fee year by year. Common washrooms for girls, and no proper care in the hostel. Infrastructure is not good.
