Dr. Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering (DACOE), Karad, is a reputed engineering institution offering quality engineering education. All admission processes in the DACOE are governed by the guidelines promulgated by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, meaning that there is a process of uniformity and fairness for every applicant.
DACOE accepts scores for both the JEE Main and the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) entrance examinations. These are the two most eminent entrance examinations, through which aspiring engineers can enroll into any merit-based program at DACOE.
Eligibility for B.Tech programs at DACOE is as follows: its completion should include 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
Application Process
It is highly likely that admissions will follow state level guidelines of admissions for undergraduate courses in computer applications.
1. Qualify for JEE Main or MHT CET: Appearing for either of the two entrance examinations is the first step for the candidates to obtain a valid score.
2. Counselling at the State Level: On declaration of results, eligible candidates must appear for counselling at the state level conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
3. Verification of Documents: This involves submission of required documents by those shortlisted. These documents typically include:
4. Seat Allocation: After admission, the candidates are allotted seat allocations through a centralized admission process, based on their ranks and their preferred choices of college and course.
5. Fee Payment: Once a seat was allocated, candidates were expected to confirm their seat acceptance and pay their fees within a specified timeline.
6. Reporting to the College: Thereafter, the students must then appear DACOE for complete admission formalities, which may include the submission of documents and attending the orientation programs.
Degree wise Admission Procedure
B.Tech: There are five B.Tech programs available in DACOE, which include Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Each program admitted 60 students approved. Admission in B.Tech programs is based on the merit of the student scored on either JEE Main or MHT CET. A BCA program is offered by the college with an additional intake of 60 students.
