Dr. Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering, Karad is one of the well-known institutes established in the year 2008. It is an affiliated college spread over a campus area of 10 acres at Vidyanagar Extn. Banawadi, Karad, Maharashtra. DACOE has been chosen with a focus on quality delivered in its working, as reflected through accreditation by NAAC and approval from AICTE. The total enrollment for the institute is 917 students with a faculty strength of 45, with four specialized B.Tech programs. The college proudly show cases all modern facilities to improve the learning experience of its students. The library, being a great space of academic resources, has more than 17,000 printed books related to various disciplines, along with different national and international journals, magazines, and a huge collection of digital resources comprising CDs, DVDs, and NPTEL video lectures from IIT. As for the hosteling facility, DACOE separately maintains boy's and girl's hostels with the capacity of 50 and 100 students, respectively, assuring a safe and compatible atmosphere to study. The infrastructure with regard to sports facilities is also up to the mark and includes both indoor and outdoor facilities for various games like cricket, football, basketball, and athletics. DACOE offers four full-time B.Tech programs, each for a period of four years. Every course has an approved intake of 60 students, thereby making a total of 240 seats in all the programs combined. Dr. Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering (DACOE), Karad, is a reputed engineering institution offering quality engineering education. All admission processes in the DACOE are governed by the guidelines promulgated by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, meaning that there is a process of uniformity and fairness for every applicant.
DACOE accepts scores for both the JEE Main and the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) entrance examinations. These are the two most eminent entrance examinations, through which aspiring engineers can enroll into any merit-based program at DACOE.

Degree wise Admission Procedure
B.Tech: There are five B.Tech programs available in DACOE, which include Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Each program admitted 60 students approved. Admission in B.Tech programs is based on the merit of the student scored on either JEE Main or MHT CET. A BCA program is offered by the college with an additional intake of 60 students.
I am studying in my final year of college at Dr. Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering, Karad. My experience for the past three and half years has been amazing and still counting on it. The college infrastructure is mesmerising starting from the college entrance to each and every classroom and laboratory. Considering the campus, huge area which includes the college building, playground, library, hostels, canteen contribute to the wholesome experience and inspire students to go to the college. All the classroom are always neat and clean, laboratories for different branches with specialized equipments regarding the field are available. Classrooms have smart boards and projectors and WiFi connection. College canteen serves good quality food with hygiene. The sports section has all the required facilities and the hostels are good too.
