      The college is considered a good option for students who want affordable engineering education in Bihar. Since it is a government college, the fees are lower compared to many private colleges. The campus has facilities like hostels, Wi-Fi, library, labs, sports, cafeteria, and one separate hostels for boys and girls. Students have also mentioned that classrooms and labs.

      Academics life is too good other than College, 75% attendance mandatory and Labs are too good like:- Mechanic Engineering, Analog Circuit, IT lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab etc. Campus life is okay okay.

      Government Engineering College Samastipur is started in 2019. This College is started from MIT Muzaffarpur campus and now its own campus in Samastipur. Campus will be present in 18 km from Samastipur City.
