Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIT) is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It has a merit-based admission process through which admissions are granted based mainly on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main exam for candidates.
GNIT is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offers a comprehensive list of undergraduate engineering courses. GNIT admissions usually coincide with those of JEE Main as conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). GNIT admission is only awarded with respect to merit/rank on the JEE.
B.Tech needs basic eligibility of qualifying 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in either Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB), together with English. Candidates must submit a valid JEE Main score.
The application process for GNIT admission is simple and follows these steps:
Each programme has its own set of GNIT admission steps. To guide you through, we’ve provided a comprehensive overview of the process for every course offered.
It is a 4-year B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering offered by GNIT with an approved intake of 150 seats for the course. GNIT admissions are made through JEE MAIN-Paper I. Eligibility criteria are 10+2 with 50% marks in PCMB with English as well as valid JEE Main scores.
The institute gives GNIT admission for B.Tech in Information Technology, having 60 seats. The process and eligibility criteria for GNIT admission remain the same as those for Computer Science and Engineering; that is, the requirement of a valid JEE Main score and a minimum of 50% in 10+2 PCMB with English.
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is offered by GNIT with a strong intake of about 30 seats. To qualify for GNIT admission, candidates must qualify for JEE Main and have the basic eligibility of 50% in 10+2 PCMB with English.
Like other B.Tech programmes, the B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering programme is associated with the same eligibility and GNIT admission criteria. This methodology merely relies on performance at JEE Main. Eligibility entails 10+2, having scored a minimum 50% in PCMB and English, coupled with having a valid JEE Main score.
We recommend preparing and submitting photocopies of all critical documents in advance to ensure a seamless GNIT admission experience.
The studying and the quality of the teaching is really awesome when compared to the other colleges. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the college. This field makes us job ready.
Academics are very good . Teachers are also well trained .Labs are good .Also webinars relatable to your core subject are conducted here with the professionals speakers . Industries visits are also available .
The state of academics is not that good but certainly few professors are really experienced and helpful. But others are very new in this field. The quality of teaching is mediocre. There is not much motivation to pursue research. Good for low skill jobs.
