Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIT) is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It has a merit-based admission process through which admissions are granted based mainly on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main exam for candidates.
The institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offers a comprehensive list of undergraduate engineering courses. Admissions usually coincide with that of JEE Main as conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission is only awarded with respect to merit/rank on JEE.
B.Tech needs basic eligibility of qualifying 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in either Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB), together with English. Candidates must submit a valid JEE Main score.
Application Process
Application in the Greater Noida Institute of Technology is simple and follows these steps:
Appearing for JEE Main: All applicants are supposed to appear for and take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Paper 1 conducted under the aegis of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Await JEE Main Result: NTA is expected to announce the results for the JEE Main examinations.
Register for Counselling: Once results are declared, eligible candidates have to register for the counselling process. This is usually done through a centralized counselling system for the institutions in Uttar Pradesh.
Choice Filling: During the counselling process, candidates fill in their preferences where they have to include GNIT with other B.Tech programs.
Seat Allocation: The allotment of seats will be based on the JEE Main rank and choices filled by students.
Document Verification: If allocated a seat at GNIT, candidates need to report to the institute for document verification. Required documents typically include the following:
JEE Main score card
Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
Category certificate (if applicable)
Domicile certificate (if required)
Passport size photographs
Any other documents specified by the institute
Fee Payment: Upon successful verification, candidates will be directed to pay the requisite fees for confirming admission.
Final Admission: After successful deposit of fee and fulfilling all other formalities, the admission process gets completed.

The studying and the quality of the teaching is really awesome when compared to the other colleges. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the college. This field makes us job ready.
Academics are very good . Teachers are also well trained .Labs are good .Also webinars relatable to your core subject are conducted here with the professionals speakers . Industries visits are also available .
The state of academics is not that good but certainly few professors are really experienced and helpful. But others are very new in this field. The quality of teaching is mediocre. There is not much motivation to pursue research. Good for low skill jobs.
