• Diploma in Automobile Engineering course has an intake capacity of 60 students and should be pursued by persons interested in matters of automotive technology and design.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering course would have an intake capacity of 60 students and serves the future civil engineers and other infrastructure professionals.
• The institute enrolls 60 students under Diploma in Electrical Engineering programme, which covers areas of electrical systems and power engineering.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course also tends to accommodate 60 students and covers numerous topics in the fields of mechanical engineering.
• Diploma in Mining Engineering programme has been started in Gumla Polytechnic with 60 seats for a specialised field meeting the requirements of the mining sector.

Gumla Polytechnic BCA Admission Process

Besides the diploma courses, Gumla Polytechnic offers a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) for 60 students at its intake. Specific to this BCA programme may be different from the process for diploma programmes; such as having a different application and selection procedure.
