Indira Institute of Management PGDM, Pune Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Indira Institute of Postgraduate Management (PGDM), Pune is a standalone recognized institute by AICTE for its two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management, the PGDM program. It provides stringent admission criteria for selection of the most appropriate candidates into the management program and is guided by an admission cycle whereby different national-level entrance exams will be announced and accepted for admission into the institute.

Entrance tests through which scores are accepted for admission into Indira Institute of Management PGDM include Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), and state-level Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET).

Board for each exam is different regarding the important dates from different admitted tests. XAT admits card, for instance, will be out between December 20 to January 5. MAT exam (CBT 2: December session) will be conducted on 22nd December. Admit cards for ATMA for December cycle are available from 18th December up to 22. CMAT opens its applications from 14th November to 25th December.

Application Process

The institute conducts the application process of Indira Institute of Management - PGDM, Pune in the following ways:

1. Entrance Test: Mere Appear at the above-mentioned entrance tests (CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT, or MH-CET) and secures a valid scorecard.

7. Admission Confirmation via Offer Letter: Selected candidates are offered an offer letter from the institute.

8. Admit Confirmation: Candidates are required to confirm their admissions by paying up the requisite fees and attaching the documents within the assigned deadline.

Degree wise Admission Process

PGDM: The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is the flagship program offered by Indira Institute of Management, Pune. The approved strength of the institute for this course is 180 candidates. The steps in the admission procedure for PGDM are mentioned as follows:

1. Candidates must appear for any of the accepted entrance examinations: CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT, or MH-CET.
2. A valid scorecard from any of those entrance exams is mandatory for admission consideration.
3. Subsequently, candidates are evaluated by the institute on the basis of their performance in these entrance exams.
4. Shortlisted candidates would possibly be called for further rounds of selection possibly comprising group discussion and personal interview.
5. Composite scores that take into account entrance examination performance along with the performances in subsequent rounds are used for final selection.
