Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering (LTCE) and is located in Navi Mumbai. It is one of those institutes in Maharashtra that brace the engineering education process. Admissions are done strictly according to the rules of admission and regulations made by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra. LTCE offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various engineering streams thereby catering to wide-ranging interests for which aspiring engineering professionals may be inclined. Usually, the admission process at LTCE goes as per the academic activity calendar, but more often, it commences in the months just after declaring 12th standard results. Admission into undergraduate programs is granted based on scores at the national and state levels. LTCE takes up scores from entrance tests: the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). For all postgraduate admissions directed mostly at the M.E., scores are from GATE.
Generally, the eligibility conditions for undergraduate programs require students to have completed the 10+2 degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. The qualifying examination aggregate score was generally expected to be around 50-60%. For the master's program, applicants should have the appropriate bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from any recognized university. Admission processing at this institute occurs centrally for transparency and against merit. Candidates qualifying in the respective entrance examination must go through counseling organized by the concerned state authorities. The final admissions would be against verification of documents and cut-off criteria set by the institute for different programs.

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.E. Programs: The B.E. courses available in LTCE are Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as well as the Internet of Things and Cyber Security with Blockchain Technology. The admission process is identical for all the aforementioned programs, based on JEE Main or MHT CET scores. Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning have the largest intake of 120 seats each, out of a total of 540 seats for these B.E. programs.
M.E. Admissions: Admissions to M.E. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering are governed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. A valid GATE score is generally expected from the candidates followed by counseling. It has a smaller intake ensuring concentrated individual attention.
Ph.D. Admissions: LTCE offers Ph.D. programs in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering. An applicant may be considered for admission to the Ph.D. programs with the following criteria:
There are 25 seats for the Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering program, and Computer Engineering has 10 seats for research-minded students.
I am studying in electronic and telecommunications engineering . Teachers try their best to provide knowledge academically as well as how the particular instrument will be used in College is soon going to update the curriculum. As I'm currently in 2 year which has just all the basic knowledge but further till 4 th year it will make me job ready
I am studying in FY comps. Pursuing BTech degree (UG). My experience with academics is really good. The teaching staff is well experienced and have to the point teaching which makes concepts east. But I feel we should have opportunities like work experiences regarding our fields and team projects guided by experts so that we gain better experience about our field and get ourselves job-ready.
The course I was enrolled in was BE in Electrical Engineering. I wanted to do it because I was passionate about the power generation and promoting sustainability. The quality of teaching was great as it was all experiential based learning there. The labs and workshops were fascinating and the curriculum was updated and it made me job ready.
