NIFT Shillong campus is one of the 18 centres of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi. NIFT Shillong Institute was established in 2008 as the first premier fashion institute in the Northeast. NIFT Shillong courses include B.Des in Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, and others.

NIFT Shillong B.Des Admission Process 2027
- Candidates have to appear for NIFT Entrance Exam for B.Des.
- The entrance exam has three stages - Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test (ST).
- Candidates clearing CAT and GAT will be eligible for the Situation test.
- Obtain a NIFT score that meets the NIFT Shillong cut-offs.
- Candidates who meet the cut-offs will have to register for NIFT counselling.
- Seats at NIFT Shillong will be allotted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the exam and preference for the institute.
- Once the seats are allocated, pay the course fee and complete the admission formalities.
