The National Institute of Fashion Technology Kolkata offers admissions to various courses at the two distinct levels of programmes. NIFT Kolkata admissions are offered in the branches of fashion design, fashion retail management, textile design, and apparel design. 

• Admissions in NIFT Kolkata for B.Des, B.F.Tech and MFM courses. 
• The entrance examination required for NIFT Kolkata admissions is the NIFT. 
• The NIFT Kolkata seat intake for B.Des is 228, while for B.F.Tech is 38 and for MFM is 38.
• The NIFT 2026 round 2 cutoff is set to be released on July 3, 2026.

The NIFT Kolkata fee for B.Des and BFTech courses is Rs 12.96 lakhs. To get admitted to the NIFT Kolkata the candidates should appear for the NIFT Entrance Exam. • Candidates need to be eligible for NIFT Kolkata admissions.
• Eligible candidates can apply for admission by visiting the official website.
• The candidates should appear and secure a valid score in the NIFT Entrance Examination.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the General Ability and Creative Ability Test, followed by an interview. 
• The NIFT Entrance Examination result will be declared online.
• Finally, once the final result is declared, counselling will be conducted, and seat allocation will take place.

• Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria for the desired course. 
• Eligible candidates must appear and secure a valid score on the GMAT examination.
• The merit list will be released on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance examination.
• Selected candidates have to undergo a General Ability and Creative Ability Test and a personal interview process.
• NIFT Kolkata admissions are done based on the performance in the written test and the personal interview.
• The candidates should complete the document verification by submitting the necessary documents.
