Academics
Maybe because I was from one of the first batches it was difficult and sadly not that amazing for me. Opportunities felt limited and exploration for different fields was also not in place at that point. But I hear now all that has changed.
College Infra
The campus is very spacious and supports a very open environment, for me personally it fuels my creativity to work in an open space. The labs are well equipped and the Hostel had great facilities. The space is also very clean and even the area around is very well equipped to provide for college necessities
Placements
Once you have NIFT on your resume a lot of doors open for you. It becomes very easy to get interviews and you get a lot more respect once they know you’re from NIFT. Placement wise at the time I graduated very few known brands participated
Value For Money
The amount you spend and the time you take to earn back that amount has a vast difference.

College Infra

Campus Life
Vibrant campus life with students from all across the country. Engaged in a variety of workshops, events, fireside chats and panel discussions throughout the year. Location is safe and equipped with all emergency services at close location. Supportive environment overall.
Placements
Industry leaders offer a variety of roles at competitive CTC. Increasing each year. The process is democratic and robust with support from faculty and alumni. CTC ranges between 8 - 12 lakh per annum.
Value For Money
Course taught me foundational skills and industry best practices, and offers job opportunities across various industries and companies, with a scope for further academic study. Can apply skills learnt to various job roles.

Academics
The curriculum is same in all the campuses and pretty good faculties. They are teaching pretty good they always help students in getting the knowledge they have.. though faculty is a bit inexperienced in new campuses like daman and Srinagar but old campuses are amazing in terms of faculty. They will always be available to help you with internships and assignments.
College Infra
Nifts have almost all the facilities. it has amazing infrastructure.. almost all the campuses are completely air conditioned. Wi-Fi and labs are available for all the departments . Girls hostel have amazing facilities too. They have gym,acs ,Wi-Fi, laundary room with fully automatic machines and irons.. mess facility is available in the hostel itself.. thought hostel is at 10 mins walk away from the campus,but the place is beautiful and clean
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing though. You will meet a lot of amazing people with very different cultures and you will learn a lot.. nift is one of those campuses where u can be the jack of all trades or the king of one it's completely upon u. We have a lots of competitions and games here.. you can be whatever and however you wanna be ,no one will judge you.
Placements
If you are goin to nift ,you must know that to get a placement with good salary you have to work very hard here since day 1, campuses like Delhi and Mumbai are pretty good for that,though the placement is centralised but campus do add some value.. the avg placement is of like 4-5 LPA for starters.
Value For Money
Avg money per year will be around 5 LPA and it might look like it's not worth it in the Beginning but with hardwork u can make it work..if your passion is designing you are gonna love it

Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you as you have mentioned about that you want to apply for N.I.F.T examination 2020 which has been already conducted hence you can not apply for it you should certainly apply for N.I.F.T 2022 in upcoming years.
