NIFT Bangalore Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

Candidates can be admitted to the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore in a variety of courses. Generally, all the NIFT Bangalore courses require candidates to take the NIFT entrance exam. Admission to NIFT B.Des courses requires an entrance examination consisting of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT) whereas only a GAT is required for the NIFT B.F.Tech programme. The PG design programme (M.Des) of NIFT Bangalore requires CAT and GAT. Similarly, NIFT Bangalore PG courses, MFM and M.F.Tech, require the entrance test. Candidates are required to undergo an interview after the entrance test for all the postgraduate programmes.

• Candidates have to visit the official website and apply online at niftadmissions.in.

• Submit academic details as per the needs of the institute, upload documents as per the specified format and pay the application fee of Rs 3000 (1500 for SC/ ST/ PWD category). The application fee has to be paid online on the admission website only.

• Candidates should meet the NIFT Bangalore B.Des eligibility criteria and apply for the entrance exam on the NIFT website.

• The selection process for the NIFT Bangalore B.Des course requires clearing an entrance test (CAT and GAT).

• Candidates should appear for the entrance examination and obtain a valid score.

• Shortlisted candidates on the basis of written test, will undergo a situation test. The final merit list will be made and published on the NIFT website. The weightage assigned to each test for the final merit list is as follows: CAT (50%), GAT (30%) and Situation Test (20%).
