NIFT Daman Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

National Institute of Fashion Technology Daman announces the admissions with an updated and restructured curriculum. NIFT Daman admissions into BDes and MDes programmes are given based on the scores acquired by the students in the NIFT Entrance Exam conducted by NTA. 

• Admissions to NIFT Daman required students to have valid NIFT scores.
• NIFT Daman admission criteria for BDes is based on CAT, GAT and situation test. 
• Performance of students in GAT (Sec A and B) and personal interview is considered for the NIFT Daman MFM selection process. 
• NIFT 2026 registrations are ongoing, and the last date to apply is January 6, 2026.

Requests for any change of category will not be permitted at any later stage of the NIFT Daman admission process. Admissions at NIFT Daman remain cancelled if the students fail to submit valid certificates. NIFT Daman admissions for lateral entry are also available for the BDes programme.

B.Des in textile design is the course offered at the undergraduate level. Students produce proof of having acquired the minimum prescribed qualifications at the time of NIFT Daman seat allocation and NIFT Daman admission. Those seeking NRI admissions should apply online.

• Online application forms are invited from eligible students. 

• Selected students are advised to appear for the NIFT Entrance Exam.

• Based on the merit acquired in the NIFT entrance exam are shortlisted.

• Students shortlisted on merit are advised to appear for the situation test and studio test.

• Based on the evaluation of the situation test and studio test, applicants are allotted seats.

• NIFT Daman fees should be paid to get the allotted seats reserved.

• Applicants are advised to submit the documents for verification to get the NIFT Daman admission confirmed.

NIFT Daman MFM Admission Process 

• Applications are invited from qualified and eligible students.

• Eligible aspirants are advised to appear for the NIFT entrance exam.

• Students must then appear for GAT (Section-A and B).

• Shortlisted merit students are advised to appear for the NIFT Daman personal interview process. 

• Students' performance in the personal interview process is assessed for seat allocation.

• To get the allotted seats reserved, the NIFT Daman course fee should be paid by the students.

• To prove the authenticity of their credentials, applicants are advised to get the documents verified to get the NIFT Daman admission.
