NIFT Bhubaneswar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

NIFT, Bhubaneswar, which is a popular campus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi, started in 2010 from a temporary campus in Jatni, near Bhubaneswar, and later moved to its permanent campus near KIIT University. 

The official inauguration of this campus took place on March 31, 2012, with the participation of former Textiles Minister Shri Anand Sharma and Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Pattnaik, among other dignitaries. The Government of Odisha provided 10 acres of land and financial support of Rs 58.6 crores for the construction of the present campus. NIFT Bhubaneswar has a 20% reservation of its seats for students from Odisha.

NIFT Bhubaneswar offers admissions to various programs such as B.Des Fashion Design, B.Des Fashion Communication, B.Des Textile Design, B.Des Lifestyle Accessory Design, B.FTech Apparel Production, and MFM. NIFT Bhubaneswar Admissions 2024 are granted through NIFT, and specific cutoffs are released for each specialisation. Aspirants securing the NIFT Cutoff scores will be granted admission in NIFT, Bhubaneswar. 

NIFT Bhubaneswar is well-known for its excellent infrastructure and provides essential facilities to its students. These include a well-equipped library, comfortable hostel accommodations, a convenient canteen, sports facilities, access to medical services, high-speed internet connectivity, and transportation options. One must note that NIFT Bhubaneswar has a well-furnished Hostel only for Girls with 200 Rooms with a boarding capacity of 400 (on a twin-sharing basis).
