National institute of fashion technology kangra is a premier institute for the education and research in the field of Fashion Designing, Textile Technology, Apparel & Garment designing etc. The Institute was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi. The institute is affiliated to NISER, Kolkata and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a government-run institute located in Kannur, Kerala. It was established by the Government of India in 1982 as National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). The institute is recognized by the Ministry of Textiles and the All India Council for Technical Education. NIFT has been accredited with A grade by NAAC and also awarded with “A” grade status on its first reaccreditation in 2010.

Yes, there is a set criteria for the age limit in all of these exams. I am listing them here for you to check-

For UCEED 2022, this is the age criteria - The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1997 if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and born on or after October 1, 1992 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

For NIFT 2022 - For general category candidates, the maximum age limit is 24 years as on 1st August 2022. For ST/SC/PHP candidates, the relaxation in age limit is 5 years.
